Synopsis

Eleven year old Nicolas is as shocked as the rest of his family to learn that they have inherited a house in Prague from a great uncle that has died in a suspicious accident.  As they visit the Czech Republic to set his affairs in order, and to learn about their heritage, Nicolas is thrown into an amazing adventure.  

It begins when his five year old sister finds and opens an ancient enchanted box, releasing Horymir, a nefarious conjurer from the past.  It ends when Nicolas must defeat Horymir and his army of statues, brought to life from their pedestals on the Charles Bridge.

Along the way, Nicolas and his Czech friend Helena must decipher clues hidden within the many legends of Old Bohemia, and in the great landmarks of Prague itself.  The clues lead to the only relic that can be used to stop Horymir, a magical sword hidden by Good King Wenceslas himself.
