Jane Alvey Harris

Jane is the award-winning author of novels and short fiction, best known for Riven and Secret Keeper, the first two books in the soon-to-be-complete My Myth Trilogy. She writes memorable, character-driven fiction that blends fantasy, humor, and psychological horror with real-world contemporary issues to create layered stories that engage and transport.

When she isn’t working on her own manuscripts, Jane teaches private creative and academic writing classes. She specializes in coaching young and neurodivergent authors to connect with their imaginations and confidently develop their voices.

Jane insists that frolicking is an absolutely vital part of the writing process. If you can’t find her, it’s because she’s lost herself somewhere in a primeval forest, meadow, or waterfall, listening to the stories trees and flowers and rushing rivers tell.

Ruston Jones

Ruston is a storyteller. While earning his university degree in film, he sharpened his skills taking as many screenwriting classes as he could. He has made his living for over 20 years with a camera and editing software working on diverse projects ranging from documentary films and television series to travel  and yoga videos.

For Sword of the Golden City he made the switch from film maker to novelist, partnering with Jane Alvey Harris to adapt his screenplay into book form. Ruston has been researching and creating this story for over a decade and is ridiculously excited to share it with readers everywhere.

When you have finished reading Sword of the Golden City, you will likely need a good stretch and might want to join one of Ruston's yoga or meditation classes. When not at the computer or on the yoga mad, you will usually find him in the basement designing and sewing the new collection for his upcoming fashion shows.
